D-MAX Power Steering Rack (Silvia S14)

With modern extended front lower arms, high-angle knuckles and high-grip tires, the load on the power steering rack has increased, and seals often blow because they can't withstand the pressure. OEM racks have become very expensive, and with so many failures, rebuilt units are also in short supply. So D-MAX developed a rack based on the Nissan Silvia S14 (non-HICAS). We are currently testing compatibility of details such as OEM oil seals and will share results as soon as they are available. Steering rack durability varies greatly with power steering fluid, so D-MAX recommends SUNOCO fluid, proven on our D1GP competition cars.

About installation
The steering center may be slightly off, so before installation always adjust the steering rack to the correct position and confirm there is no misalignment
before installing.
*When installing the adapter
With the OEM rack, when installing steering angle rings or similar, it is 7mm on the driver side and 14mm on the passenger side.
With our rack: 9mm on the driver side and 9mm on the passenger side
