The pillow ball tension rod converts the OEM tension rod's rubber bushing to a pillow ball, suppressing toe change under acceleration and braking and allowing the lower arm to move only vertically with load changes as intended. It also stabilizes the chassis under braking and cornering and sharpens steering response. Wheelbase becomes adjustable. OEM bushings let alignment shift while driving; pillow balls suppress those changes for stable driving.
