The hub unit plays the critical role of supporting the car on its wheels. Modern drift cars run high-angle knuckles, extended lower arms and high-grip tires, putting far more load on the hub unit than you might expect. Depending on setup and use, they quickly develop play. OEM parts have become expensive and used parts are hard to find. Testing started with street driving and went through countless drift sessions before release. Also proven on D1 cars.
