With OEM rubber bushings, the case and rubber are bonded together, so twisting, flexing and compression keep the pivot point from staying stable and limit the range of motion — alignment is constantly changing. The rubber's constant rebound force also keeps affecting suspension movement. Converting these bushings to pillow balls eliminates twisting, flexing and compression, keeps the pivot point fixed and stops alignment changes. The suspension moves smoothly without binding, behavior changes while drifting nearly disappear, and you get full performance even in situations where you used to feel a lack of traction.
