D-MAX Reinforced Engine Mount Bushings (JZ)
D-MAX Reinforced Engine Mount Bushings (JZ)

Reinforced engine mount bushings ideal for drifting as well as gymkhana and racing. Raising the hardness of the too-soft OEM bushings reduces vibration on and off throttle, under braking and mid-corner and limits engine rock, so throttle response and the transmission's true movement come through directly — improving shift feel and cornering performance. Because these are harder than the OEM reinforced part, the engine sits about +2mm higher, but it doesn't touch the hood and installs as a direct OEM replacement with no modification.
■ Rubber hardness vs. Toyota OEM reinforced part (*Note 1)
| Our products | +5~7% |
■ Engine mounting position vs. OEM (*Note 2)
| Our products | Approx. +2mm |
■ Compatible vehicles / chassis codes / engine codes
| Vehicle | Mark II / Chaser / Cresta |
| Chassis code | JZX90 late (*Note 3) / JZX100 |
| Engine code | 1JZ-GTE |
*Note 1: Figures from comparison testing with our hardness tester. + means harder.
*Note 2: Figures from our comparison testing. + means higher than OEM.
*Note 3: Vehicles built from September 1994 to September 1996 are the late model.
*Puts more load on the engine mounts than the Toyota OEM part, so reinforcing the body and mounts is recommended.
*Because the rubber is harder than OEM, the engine sits higher and may interfere with a strut tower bar or aftermarket hood.
*Engine vibration is transmitted into the cabin more than with OEM parts, so interior panels may rattle.
