The hub unit plays the critical role of supporting the car on its wheels. Modern drift cars run high-angle knuckles, extended lower arms and high-grip tires, putting far more load on the hub unit than you might expect. Depending on setup and use, they quickly develop play. OEM parts have become expensive and used parts are hard to find. Testing started with street driving, and the product was proven through countless drift runs in actual competition on D1 GRAND PRIX and D1 LIGHTS series cars. By design, once the driveshaft nut is tightened there is no play like you might feel when first installed, so you can use it with confidence.
