Switching to adjustable pillow ball arms corrects unstable rear suspension behavior. Adjusting toe angle lets you change the rear understeer/oversteer balance. The rod body is a turnbuckle design, so it can be adjusted after installation. Because the member side and knuckle side can be adjusted to equal length, load on the threads — the most stressed area — is reduced. Tune the car to your liking and respond quickly to sudden changes in track conditions.
